Mystery of Ancient Egypt

Q&A

Q: What is the mystery?
A: There are such mysteries as stated below.
  • Civilization in ancient Egypt first appeared in around 3500 B.C all of a sudden in a form with a complete structure of religion, pictographs, medical science, philosophy, astronomy, and literature. No sign of process is found to indicate that it had been developing before that.
  • In around 2500 B.C, a thousand years after its appearance, the people have built the Great Sphinx of Giza by making full use of highly-developed knowledge and technique, but the construction method is not clear.
  • The Great Sphinx is considered a book made of stone. By looking at it, one would realize that ancient Egypt had a thorough knowledge of the state of the earth, and their scientific knowledge was far superior to that of medieval Europe. In the present day, we are in the process of rediscovering those facts that the ancient Egypt had already known.
  • By analyzing the Luxor Temple, one would realize that the construction knowledge has being handed down for more than fourteen hundred years, and that makes you feel the existence of intellectual group behind it.
  • The knowledge on space of the ancient Egypt is not inferior to that of the modern science.
  • Looking at the name list of the successive kings of the ancient Egypt, you would see that its history is far older than 3500 B.C
  • A famous priest of the ancient Egypt said "The history of Egypt dates back thirty thousand years. They have been observing space for more than ten thousand years."
  • According to the priestfs statements and the writings on the walls of temples, the ancient Egypt has inherited property left by the lost civilizations that had been existed before that.
Q: What do I think?
A: All the questions stated above including the one about the Great Sphinx should be answered. Not only about the ancient Egypt but also about the ancient Maya, Indus, and Chinese civilizations, there still are many unclear facts exceeding our knowledge.

We, as citizens of a modern world, are possessed with the idea that the contemporary period is the greatest of all human civilizations and the ancients are primitive people. But, isnft that an arrogant idea? It is said that the modern mankind, homosapiens, came into existence sometime between fifty thousand and a hundred thousand years ago. If the people who had the same level of intelligence and sensations as the man of today had lived on the earth for forty to ninety thousand years, there is no way they could not have developed a civilization.

A historian named Arnold Toynbee has put forth an interesting theory regarding the occurrence of civilization. He considers that man has been developing a civilization as carrying out a fully worked-out reform over and over in order to challenge the deteriorating environment. Assuming his idea to be right, it is quite possible if a high-developed civilization had been established a few times in the course of fifty to hundred thousand years. For those years, man had been going through a great deal of hardships caused by environmental changes, and dealing with and challenging those situations.

It is not only the future but also the past that is unknown. I am absolutely certain that there will be a revolutionary change in our understanding of the prehistoric age during the twenty first century.
