What kind of a year would 2002 be? The Afghanistan affair finally seems to move toward settlement but a new conflict broke out between Israel and Palestine. There's also a presentiment that Saudi Arabia may become a scene of another ominous conflict.

This year may also turn out to be a serious one.

The illustration depicts the so-called Crystal City, an Eurobe colony of New Carthago city viewed from the Northwest. Although it is a planet of extremely low temperature, inside the poles on both sides are kept at comfortable temperature.

This was a new year greeting from the New Carthago City, a dictatorship with no war.
