Neanderthals
Part 10

No.10 Abominable Snowman

Did every Neanderthals actually die out?

Aren't there any possibilities that some of them may have survived to this day, living silently at some wild, remote area. In fact, this could be possible!

Neanderthals were hairy population adjustable to the extremely cold weather of the ice age.

Extremely cold weather and the hairy population Ð don't they both remind us of something? Yes, it's an abominable snowman, Yeti of the Himalayans. Eyewitness accounts of Yeti were reported ever since far past. Also the legendary Chinese Wildman and of the hairy beast-like men of the Caucasus, the Almas can also be regarded as the same specie with the Yeti. An abominable snowman reminds us of some wild beast-like creature. But regardless of how intelligent they may be, it is natural for modern men to regard bodies covered with bristle as something wild. And there's no evidence showing that they were actually wild. Just like the chewbacca of the SF movie ÒStar WarsÓ. Although he appears like a scary and hairy beast-like man, he could walk upright, manage everything that human beings could perform.

Many of the eyewitness accounts of the abominable snowman Yeti bear intelligence. Have you ever heard of Yeti attacking human beings? In fact, there's almost no case where Yeti attached people. Why does Yeti, a gamecock hunter as it is said to be, never attack human beings that are stranger to them? It is only because they know enough that they are no match for human beings that carry powerful modern weapon.

Furthermore, we can safely say that very scarce number of its eyewitness accounts is because Yeti deliberately avoids human beings. When it comes to Almas of the Caucasus that are thought to be of the same specie, there are many reports that makes us think that they are the descendants of the Neanderthals and nothing else.
