"Potatoes that make you sigh"

This is was a favourite of my husband's father. He loved beer, and when he said "I want it!" this is what he meant!
First, boil some potatoes and macaroni.
After melting an incredible amount of butter in a pan, put the potatoes and macaroni in and fry them to a beautiful brown.
Turn them over and keep shaking the pan until the macaroni become crispy, the potatoes become golden, and with a savoury aroma. Add salt and pepper to taste.
No doubt this is full of fat. And it makes beer even more delicious. So, I just can't stop sighing, but I have no choice because it is really tasty. My children like to add bacon bits.
As I tried making it
At a restaurant called "Lucia" in Shizuoka Prefecture, one of their signature dishes is boiled potatoes dressed with cheese. Because this dish came to my head when I was cooking, I sprinkled some parmesan cheese and added thinly-sliced perilla on top. You can of course use melting cheese instead. Anyway, it is a kind of dish which is simple and thus tasty.
