The Great Pyramid
"Four-wheeled vehicle in the pyramid 1"

In the website of Rudolf Gantenbrink, THE UPUAUT PROJECT, there is a description of the investigations he carried out in 1992 to 1993 illustrated with photographs.

His investigation was done separately in the following three campaigns.

  • THE FIRST 1992 CAMPAIGN
  • THE SECOND 1992 CAMPAIGN
  • THE 1993 CAMPAIGN
Now, there are four air holes in all in the pyramid, but as you are well aware, since a purpose of the pyramid is still unknown, we actually do not know if those holes are for "ventilation." As a matter of fact, the two lower holes are not leading to the exterior of the pyramid. When the upper holes, which have been clogged with sand until then, opened up for the first time in 1800s, air came in from the outside and caused a sudden drop in temperature of the King's Chamber; since then they have been regarded as air holes. Gantenbrink calls these holes "shafts." A shaft means a long and narrow object or part. Rather than describing it in words, I can make it much clear by having you take a look at CYBER DRAWING that I have mentioned previously, but there are two shafts extending northward and southward separately from the King's Chamber, and they are called the upper northern shaft and the upper southern shaft respectively. These upper shafts penetrate directly to the outside, thereby having outlets on the exterior walls of the pyramid. Likewise, there are the lower northern and southern shafts extending from the Queen's Chamber, which is located beneath the King's Chamber. But these shafts stop within the pyramid without penetrating to the outside. During the first 1992 campaign done in March, he spent about two weeks investigating into the two lower shafts and the upper southern shaft. He could not work on the upper northern shaft at that time as being unable to obtain permission from the Egyptian Government; since the outlet of this shaft lies right above the tourist entrance, the Government was concerned about the risk that falling stone might injure the tourists. In the second 1992 campaign that was carried out in May extending for about three weeks, he made an investigation into the upper northern shaft, which he has not been able to work on the last time, and the upper southern shaft. At last, in May 1993, he spent another three weeks investigating into the lower southern shaft once again. In this third attempt, his UPUAUT finally made it all the way through the shaft, and discovered a door with a copper handle. I would like to touch on these shafts some other day.

Now, during the second 1992 campaign, he discovered a "metallic four wheeled-vehicle" at the uppermost part of the upper northern shaft. This shaft extends from the King's Chamber to the exterior of the pyramid, but in a complicated form. After running northward for few meters from the King's Chamber, it bends to the left, that is, to the west, and then resumes going toward the original direction, the north, once again at certain point. It is inclined at 32.6 degrees all the way to the end except for the first few meters where it runs horizontally. Around the outlet, it actually becomes wider as much as a person can fit in, and extends about 11 meters. Gantenbrink named this tunnel "Mankiller tunnel" because one of his team members has once tried entering the tunnel and ended up sliding down just as if he was falling into a doodlebug's pit, and thought "I am going to get killed!" That person must have been frightened to death. In this "Mankiller tunnel," Gantenbrink discovered a four-wheeled vehicle made of iron. From the fact that this shaft has been clogged up with dust and stones at the time of his investigation in 1992, he imagined that someone has created this four-wheeled vehicle as a "battering ram" to clean out the shaft. In other words, he surmised that someone has tried to get rid of the dust by passing this vehicle down through the shaft. He is giving an account of this "four-wheeled vehicle" in THE SECOND 1992 CASMPAIGN of his website. Click the address below. The fourth picture is the image of the four-wheeled vehicle. http://www.cheops.org/startpage/theupuautstory/thesecond1992campaign/second92.htm

Here is the website of Rudolf Gantenbrink. You can go into the site simply by clicking the "ENTER" written on a stone-button down the screen. Then choose CYBER DRAWING, and click OK button for downloading. In a little while after clicking CHEOPS SHAFTS or other item, you will receive the drawing. You can try conducting the buttons on the top several times at first, and learn the operational procedure of the drawing.
