「A big gentleman」

This was the way back from my Interview in San Antonio TX. I sat next to a big gentleman. Well, as always I decided to social with my neighbor in my short flight time. His name was James Key.

Hey, I am not taking picture just randomly in airplane, ok? He was not just a good company for plane but he gave me a story about his experience in Iraq war.

So what is he doing in US? Answer is curing his finger, which came off from his hand. He had an accident and need to be in hospital, so he fortunately came back to US and fortunately to put finger back.

He was telling me that over there was hot like hell, and we don't really understand the situation what's going on. Weapons are spread everywhere in Iraq and somebody is getting kill by those weapon everyday randomly.

Of course, he did not enjoy being in Iraq. It was unfortunately choice, which he chose to go to the college by military loan. Basically military pays for a college education and military gets right to recruit young American after that whenever they want. Actually, I have a few friends doing this. If any need of military match them, military will recruit them. If you reject, you will be in jail. A lot of my friends did not imagine being in war, also James. They thought that US will maintain the peace with rest of the world but....

That's not what's happening right now. I think that he is a lucky to have injury. That's why he is back in US, and avoids the situation right now over in Iraq. I don't want to write too much my political statement so I will finish up the short story with his comment.

"I am just glad to be home"

This was deeply inside from his hurt, without any other words. He is just glad to be home, so he can see his 2 years boy and wife.

What does the war bring to us?
I don't see anything.
Nobody feels anything until something happens to you
Many people talk and talk and talk
But there is no feeling in it
His finger and words make me think again about war
